Two dozen competitors from around the world participated in Black Water Junction’s Junction Function wakeboarding competition Aug. 3.
Placing first in the professional division was Andrew Pastura from Cincinnati, Ohio. Cole Kriass won second place while Ole Jacobs won third.
In the amateur division, Clark Davis of Danville placed first, while Dylan Cook was second and Dylan Mead was third.
There were two competitors in the veteran division. John Ruark from Ocoee, Florida won top honors while Alex Victa placed second.
Competitors from as far as away as Italy, France, Germany and Canada participated in the inaugural event.
