When it comes to creativity, wakeboard pro Felix Georgii always sets the bar high. Watch his new video edit of never-been-done tricks on never-been-seen obstacles.

While wakeboard parks around the globe have had to remain closed during the past few months, Germany’s Felix Georgii has been making good use of his time and working hard on new ideas. The result is new tricks and new obstacles, some of which give new meaning to the old phrase ‘jumping through hoops’.
Watch the video above to see what we’re talking about.
Not even a pro like Georgii was spared from being locked out of Wedau Waterski Park – aka The Bricks – leaving his imagination plenty of time to run riot and conjure up new tricks. Luckily, and unexpectedly, the gates were opened for him, giving him 20 days to build the ultimate creative playground for wakeboarders.
With manoeuvres like a Handplant Frontflip over a golf cart, a one-footed jumps over floating barrels and a slide over a set of wooden pallets (which saw them topple like dominoes), Georgii once again proved that he’s among the most creative wakeboarders in the world.
It’s not just about creativity, though. Georgii’s ambition, perseverance and perfectionism also played decisive roles during filming. “The one-footed line kept me busy the longest, as I just didn’t manage to land both perfectly. It took a whole morning to get it right,” he says.
For his grand finale, Georgii came up with a jump that no wakeboarder has ever tried before. Towed in by the cable, he jumped through a truck tyre hanging 3m in the air. How did he know he could even fit through with his board? “I just measured it via rule of thumb,” he jokes. “It worked smoothly and I only touched the hoop with my helmet slightly once or twice.”
