The countdown to the III KiteFest Unemployed has begun and the TMKiteClub and the Concello de Redondela already finalized the preparations for the most anticipated event of the season of kite-surfing in Galicia. The appointment, which will be held this coming weekend under the sponsorship of the Xunta de Galicia, will also meet this year to some of the riders as usual in the national league to offer a show of jumps and maneuvers in the test of Freestyle scheduled for Sunday.
Among the participants invited the presence of the champion of Spain of Strapless in 2018, David Marin, rider of the team Eleveight and one of the more pointers in the last few seasons of the Spain Kiteboarding League (SKL). Also will fight for win the title Ruben Cano of the team North Kiteboarding; Felipe Moure Airush and the president of the TMKiteClub Just Fernandez Voena, sponsored by Eleveight like David Marín and one of the riders with the more technical and experienced of those that will be at this year’s KiteFest.
will Also be there the winners of the last edition -Sergio Lozano, 1st in Strapless; Francisco Coast, 1st in Freestyle, and Patxi Fernández, 1st in Big Air – along with other riders such as Guadalupe di Paola, David Mariño or Roberto Martinez.
Three Master Class in luxury at the third annual KiteFest
in Addition to the evidence of race and exhibition, the III KiteFest Unemployed will provide participants with three Master Class exclusive spread over the two-day event. The objective is to give you the opportunity to continue to evolve and learn from some of the leading experts in this sport.
David Marin will be responsible to deliver a talk about progression in Freestyle in the form of Strapless, Felipe Moure on Freestyle smart and Tiago Rocha –instructor and examiner of the diploma of monitor IKO – on meteorology applied to the kite.
The Master Class, as it marked the protocols of the Secretariat General for Sport and the Real Federación Gallega de Vela, will be held for a maximum of 25 people and complying with all safety and hygiene measures.
The III KiteFest Unemployed will start this coming Saturday, day 11, with the delivery of dorsal, from 10:00 hours.
