PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla.- More than 50 skim boarders competiting at the M.B. Miller County Pier on Saturday for the Pounding at the Pier.
Pros and amatures were showing off their skills in the gulf.
The event was part of the East Coast Skim Tour and it was hosted by Shore lb. clothing.
Panama City Beach is the only gulf coast stop on the tour.
It was the first time a skimboard competiton was held in Panama City Beach in five years.
“We have a lot of great support from our local skimmers all the locals here and it’s been over five years since I’ve been to panama city and I forget how nice everybody is,” said CEO of Shore lb, Christopher Ellison.
