MANILA – Several Southeast Asian Games events were postponed Tuesday morning as typhoon Tisoy doused tournament venues.
As of 11 a.m., the following sports matches have been rescheduled:
SUBIC CLUSTER
• Beach Volleyball (moved to Dec. 4)
• Canoe, Kayak, Traditional Boat Race (moved to Dec. 6-8)
• Muay (moved to Dec. 4-8)
• Pencak Silat (moved to Dec.4)
• Sailing/Windsurfing (moved to Dec. 5)
• Modern Pentathlon (moved to Dec. 5)
• Surfing (moved to Dec. 4)
• Sepak Takraw (moved to Dec. 4)
SOUTHERN LUZON CLUSTER
• Underwater Hockey (moved to Dec. 4, subject to actual conditions)
• Skateboard (moved to Dec. 4, subject to actual conditions)
• Polo (moved to Dec. 4, subject to actual conditions)
METRO MANILA CLUSTER
• ESports (training schedule moved to Dec. 4)
CLARK CLUSTER
• Petanque (moved to Dec. 4)
Organizers have yet to finalize new schedules for wakeboarding, golf and other aquatic events, according to a post on the SEA Games 2019 official Facebook page.
Other SEA Games events in venues unaffected by Tisoy will be held based on the original time table, organizers said.
