Forster Bodyboarding Club held its sixth round of club competition at Pacific Palms, with Blueys Beach providing spectacular weather and consistent three-to-four foot wedges all day. It was great to see some younger competitors showing interest and joining the club, with the massive smiles on their faces saying it all. The girls showed up in great numbers – there were enough to have two heats and a final. Some great surfing went down, with Tristan Sheedy busting a big invert on a rare right-hander, Christian Sheehy ripping up the Groms final, and young Gemma McEnally charging one of the biggest waves she has ever ridden. The club’s next contest will be held on September 22. Anyone interested in joining Forster Bodyboarding Club or seeking more information please click here. All ages and abilities are welcome.
