Although the British are used to two bank holidays from Monday in May, by 2020, things are changing a bit. Unfortunately, no additional free day has been granted for workers in the United Kingdom, but the government has announced that the bank holiday in early May, known as May Day, has been delayed four days next year to coincide with the 75th anniversary. of VE Day.

VE Day, or Victory Day in Europe, marks the day in 1945 when the Nazis surrendered their armed forces in World War II. The weekend will see three days of commemorative events.
