Maroochydore’s James Boggia says he is ready to find love having spent almost a decade travelling the world focused on carving out a professional wakeboarding career.
In a world first, the next instalment of popular reality TV show the Bachelorette will involve two sisters, Elly and Becky Miles, searching for everlasting love.

Boggia said he was a little rusty when it came to the dating game.
“To be honest I have been travelling the world for the last seven years with my wakeboarding so I haven’t really been looking for dates,” he said.
“I have kind of been focused on my profession and getting to where I need to be.”
The bachelor hopeful admitted wakeboarding “fell in his lap” after stints with martial arts and representative rugby.
He said his sporting pursuits had previously taken priority over relationships.
“I guess I have never really been committed to doing that because I have been focused on my dream and career so much,” he said.
“I guess you have to sometimes be selfish and do what you need to do to follow your dream.”
But the Coast boy is ready to make love the number one priority and he was looking forward to his Bachelorette adventure.
Boggia isn’t giving too much away as fans of the reality TV show ponder what is to come for the two lovely ladies and 20 eligible gentlemen.
“I am not sure how it is all going to go,” he said.
“I guess you are going to have to wait to see how it all plays out.”
The Coast professional wakeboarder is sure to get the sisters’ hearts racing when he takes them on his perfect date.
“I like anything with an adrenaline rush,” Boggia said.
“But I also like to do stuff I haven’t done before – maybe we can both be really bad at it together or have a bit of competition.”
