EAGLE RIVER – Eagle Falls Adventure Golf & Laser Tag hosted their 4th Annual Putts for Mutts event on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Eagle River, Wisconsin.
Eagle Falls is thrilled to announce that they had their best event yet and were able to collect $1,185 in monetary donations.
Attendees of the event generously donated supplies such as cat litter, cleaning supplies, toys, dog bones, and more!
Mark and Karen Cropsey, owners of Eagle Falls Adventure Golf & Laser Tag, along with their staff, and event organizer, Hannah Yuds, have been hosting Putts for Mutts for the last four years at their Eagle River mini golf course.
ONEIDA COUNTY – Law enforcement agencies in Oneida county are taking back unwanted prescription drugs at several locations.
On October 24, 2020 from 10 a.m. To 2 p.m., The three lakes police department, the Rhinelander Police Department, the Minocqua Police Department and the Oneida county sheriff’s office in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration and Wisconsin Department of Justice will give the public another opportunity to prevent prescription medication abuse and prescription medication theft by eliminating their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
Bring your medications for disposal to one of the following sites between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.:

KENOSHA – Jacob Blake’s father said Friday that his “happy-go-lucky” son is optimistic for his future, although he remains paralyzed from the waist down after being shot seven times in the back by a Kenosha, Wisconsin, police officer.
A clearly exhausted Jacob Blake Sr., speaking by video chat from a Milwaukee hotel, told The Associated Press that the past two weeks have been “surreal” and “like a dream” and he’s mentally worn out. He said he’s been receiving death threats, which he said he couldn’t talk about in detail.
KENOSHA – More than 250 people have been arrested since the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, with more than half from outside the county that the southeastern Wisconsin city is in, police reported Thursday.
