??New World Record?? Via @functionalendurance . Isaiah Harrison, age 16(!) with the new age-group WR for the 100m at 13.8 seconds. If I?m not mistaken, this completes the ?? of every AG WR on the erg for this kid. . 1:09 average, from a dead stop- he peaked at 1:06/500m, well over 1,000 watts of power. Solid. . He had been getting stuck at 13.9 seconds his last few attempts; which matched the old WR. We spent a few minutes before this attempt working on starts and strategies to spin the flywheel a bit quicker, and it helped that little bit- and there is still more time to be had, for sure. . These erg sprint pieces are fun; they require a completely different approach compared to anything longer, but they can still teach valuable skills that carry over to those longer pieces- like how to most effectively get to peak speed. #Concept2 #WorldRecord #RowErg
