Aquatech has released its new AxisGo “water” housing for the Apple iPhone. The “professional grade” housing can be used in “any water conditions, from rough surf to fishing and wakeboarding to a family swim session in the pool” and is depth-rated to 10 meters (33 feet).
Weighing 18oz (510g) and made from polycarbonate, aluminum and stainless steel, the housing features optically corrected glass elements and the hard-coated polycarbonate membrane allows full touchscreen operation. The basic housing can be augmented with various grips, mounts, ports, and accessories. Kits are also available, including the Over-Under Kit, which bundles the housing with a 6-inch dome port, pistol grip trigger, and polish for applying to the dome for perfect split shots.
The latest housing fits the iPhone 11, 11 Pro Max, XS Max, and XR, but there are other versions designed for earlier iPhone models. Prices start from $200 for the basic housing.
