VOP: Workers doing a great job with trash pickup in Kenosha – Kenosha News
Posted On:
Living in Kenosha for 20 plus years, I am especially appreciative of our Public Works Department and the hard-working men collecting our garbage each week.
In all those years there has never been a problem with our garbage pickup: in fact just this summer I witnessed compassion and kindness by a worker who helped an elderly neighbor unable to carry a heavy garbage can and went up her driveway to retrieve it for her.
I too was a little late with my bag of trash recently and both workers were kind and waited patiently for me. Next time you have the opportunity give a wave and say thank you to our city’s trash workers. I am sure they will appreciate it.
